Immortal Glory Slots

No one really wants to live forever, do they? The immortal theme crops up in plenty of slot games, and here we have a chance to experience that again. Immortal Glory provides us with a strong theme and some dramatic gameplay, so let's see what else it might offer along the way.

Two developer names to reveal here

You've heard of Microgaming, we're sure. They regularly partner with smaller studios to produce some outstanding slots, and they've done that here with Just for the Win.

The game fits in a demo version too

It does, and you can try that first to get a better sense of how this one works.

Does the game have an Olympic theme?

We've seen slots based around the Olympic Games before - but we cannot think of any that work around the first time the Olympics took place. This game fills that gap.

How does the design fare?

If you look more closely at the background, you'll see you are in an arena with thousands of people waiting to see the action. There are Olympic torches, shotputs, and wreaths appearing on the reels too.

How to play the Immortal Glory slot game

This game has five reels, so there's nothing new happening there. You do get four symbols landing on each one though. While the game doesn't have any progressive jackpots, it does have three fixed ones, so we'll cover those in more detail later in this review.

The wild is the Olympic torch, and it appears as a full height symbol, so it can occupy part or all the reel it lands on. These can replace everything with one exception - the jackpot symbol.

Paylines are confirmed to the left of the reels

You'll see a message there confirming the presence of 40 lines. We can confirm that they're fixed, too.

Affordable bets cover the 40 lines

It looks like you can begin this one at just 10 cents per play. At the other end of the pay scale, you can bet at $25 per spin.

Plenty of details provided in the paytable

Immortal Glory has a detailed paytable that explains everything you should know before you play the game for the first time. It makes sense to read this even if you're limiting yourself to the demo game.

Bonus jackpot potential in Immortal Glory

Since this is based around the Olympics, and we know that those finishing in the top three places receive gold, silver, and bronze medals, it makes sense to see there are three jackpots bearing those colors.

If you find three jackpot symbols, you'll go to another screen where three statues await. They're all covered, so all you need to do is to pick one to unveil. Bronze will bring 20x your triggering bet, while silver ups this to 100x. You'll want gold if you can find it though, as this brings the winner an incredible 10,000x their bet.

An unusual trigger gets you through to the free spins

Five free games await if you can achieve a complete stack of wild symbols on reel one plus another reel. Any stacked wild symbols that show up during these spins will always nudge one position per spin, so they could partially stick around for longer than usual. If you manage to see one or more wilds on the final free game, you'll receive a Glory Spin to finish on. This means that complete wilds displayed on a reel are removed. However, all partial wilds in sight are nudged to display on the reels. Only then do you get your prizes if any appear, and these will be given a multiplier of 2x at least and 10x at most.

Immortal Glory has a reasonable RTP

The slot game reaches above the minimal level we like to find, heading to a rate of 96.19%.

Our rating: Is this a strong game to play?

We liked it a lot, and we think it has plenty of potential if you are keen to go back into history to experience the first Olympics. Several participants appear throughout, so they're good to watch out for as well. This is a strong effort for a game, giving it eight out of 10 points from us.

Will there be any gold winners?

The gold jackpot is of course the best of them all, and the 10,000x prize certainly ranks as one worth going for. It's difficult to unlock the jackpot round though, as you knew it would be, and the odds of uncovering the gold statue are tougher still.

Try the demo until you get through to the free spins

Since you can play the demo for a while and not spend anything doing so, it makes sense to ensure that you can experience those free games while you're playing.

Real gaming also available in Immortal Glory

Yes, you can always try the real thing whenever you are ready, and you've got plenty of reasons to do this with that low starting wager in place.

Mobile accessibility is fine too

Play a game based on an ancient event on a modern mobile device working on Android or iOS today.
